Many of these businesses are restaurants which are relying on the financial support of their community. At T&G Builders, our team is passionate about supporting our favorite local businesses during this difficult time. These places have held company meetings, client dinners, family meals, and birthday parties. To help spread the word about these favorite restaurants each week, we will highlight our favorites alongside information on how you can support them. This week, we are spotlighting four Mexican restaurants in the Ocean City, Bethany Beach, and Fenwick Island communities.
Tequila Mockingbird
This Mexican restaurant has two locations in North and West Ocean City. They are opening their North location at 130th St. and Coastal Highway from about 3 to 7 every day, serving carry-out orders to their customers. Besides its punny name, Tequila Mockingbird offers plenty of authentic tacos, burritos, margaritas, and more! And, yes, you can order margaritas to go. Mother’s Cantina
Mother’s Cantina in Ocean City offers up a mix of fresh Tex-Mex at affordable prices alongside the best margaritas and fresh, organic, and local ingredients. This restaurant is open for pickup and delivery orders every day from 11 am to 10 pm. You can check out their menu online and order through their website here. Mother’s Cantina is located at 28th St. Plaza, 2810 Philadelphia Avenue, and you can call them at 410-289-1330 when you arrive to pick up your curbside order. Mother’s Cantina is also offering a sweet deal on margarita kits to-go, which include 32 ounces of fresh sour mix, a bottle of tequila, and a bottle of triple sec all for just $35. Papa Grande’s
The best Mexican restaurant on Fenwick Island serves up fresh coastal Mexican cuisine with specialties, including blackened fish tacos and short rib cheesesteak burritos. Located at 38929 Madison Ave in Selbyville, DE, Papa Grande’s is open for carry-out orders Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 8 pm. This restaurant offers lots of daily specials, including half-price entrees on Tuesdays, $7 nachos on Mondays, and three courses for $19 on Sundays. Zoca
Zoca is a modern Mexican restaurant based at 98 Garfield Parkway in charming Bethany Beach, DE. Zoca is offering curbside pickup and delivery services from 3 to 8 pm Tuesday through Thursday, from 12 pm to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday. While the delivery services are free of charge, they are only available to orders placed within a 6-mile radius, and with a minimum order total of $45.
